Both of them came in front of the audience as presenters. Later, both of them started a YouTube channel. After that, both of them became well-known and loved by Malayalees.

Now Vimal also acted with team Karik in their latest web series Samarthya Shastra. In the film, Vimal played the role of a villain who clings to people. The premise of the series is that a man extorts money from five people who are in financial trouble, and after receiving a letter from an unknown person, they set out to track down the scammer. But there was a huge twist in the last episode of the series.
The series started streaming on YouTube from November 16. The series arrived with both excitement and laughter. The series managed to capture a place in the minds of the audience. Karik’s serials always come with an emphasis on comedy. But this time they came with a comedy thriller series.
Samarthya Shastra is directed by Shyam Girish. As always, Anand Mathews, Kiran Viyat, Krishnachandran, Nilin Sandra, Sabreesh Sajin, Sneha Babu, Shiny Sara, Unni Muthews, Shins Shan, Neetu Chandran and Riju Rajeev are the main characters in the new series.
There was a discussion on social media that Samarthya Shastra is similar to many Korean English films such as Nani film Gang Leader, Ranveer Singh, Anushka Sharma-starrer Ladies v/s Rocky Ball, Malayalam film Saptamashree Taskaraha and many others. In every film, the same story is told where the victims of fraud come together to give a job to the person who cheated them and get back the lost money. But many people opined that the theme is only one and the content is different for each one.
The executive producer of the series is Nikhil Prasad, while the creative director and editor is Rakesh Cherumath. The cinematography of the series is done by Akhil Xavier. While the art direction is handled by Sivadas Kavullapura, the music is composed by Lionel and Gopu.
