According to a study commissioned by the British government, one million people in the UK used cocaine in the past year, and 300,000 regularly used crack and other opiates. Almost eight billion pounds, or around 9.5 billion euros, are sold every year in the country with 67 million inhabitants on the black drug market. At a high price, it is estimated that more than 4,500 people will be killed or have lost their lives by using banned drugs by 2021.
