It was through a statement released last Thursday on his Instagram account that the remembered Drake & Josh actor decided to comment on Discovery’s investigative documentary ‘Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV‘. Likewise, he sympathized with his former co-star Drake Bell, who revealed that he received support from him.
‘I finished the documentary’Quiet On Set‘ and I took a few days to process it. “I reached out to Drake Bell privately, but I wanted to express my support for the survivors who were brave enough to share their stories of emotional and physical abuse on the sets of Nickelodeon with the world,” the Oppenheimer actor said.
In that sense, Josh Peck added: “Children must be protected. Reliving this publicly is incredibly difficult, but I hope it can bring healing for the victims and their families, as well as necessary changes in our industry.”

Last Wednesday, Drake Bell clarified that Josh Peck did speak with him after he told of the abuse he suffered from Brian Peck (who is not related to Josh) when he was 15 years old.
Through a video on Tik Tok, the American singer asked users not to question his former partner in Drake & Josh. This, after he received criticism on his social networks for, allegedly, remaining silent and not defending his former friend.
“Hey guys. I just want to clarify one thing. I’ve noticed a lot of comments on some of Josh’s TikToks and some of his posts (…) I just want you to know that this needs to be processed. Going through this is a very emotional time, and a lot of it is very, very difficult. So not everything is made public,” the 37-year-old musician began by saying.
Next, he emphasized the support he received from Josh. “I want you to know that Josh did reach out to me and he’s been very sensitive about this. He reached out to talk to me and help me get through this. He’s been really great. So I wanted you guys to know and take it with a grain of salt.” calm down,” he concluded.
