Gilberto Emmanuel Fernandes Abelha, 41, was shot by criminals in Ponta Porã, Mato Grosso do Sul, on the border with Paraguay. The crime took place on Sunday the 16th. The victim is the son of retired judge Mário Eduardo Fernandes Abelha, who served in the Court of justice of State.
The images released by the police show the victim getting into his vehicle, when two men approach in a black car. Action is fast, and the suspects get out of the car shooting. Gilberto even tries to escape, but is shot.

The case is being investigated by the Civil Police of Ponta Porã and has been registered as “homicide qualified by treason, by ambush, or through dissimulation or any other resource that makes it difficult or impossible for the victim to defend himself”.
The police still do not have information about the reason for the execution, and the case remains confidential. The criminals who murdered the judge’s son remain at large.

A 40-year-old man was arrested on Friday the 14th during a joint operation between the Special Group for the Repression of Narcotics (Genarc) and the Special Operations Division (DOE), called Operation End of the Line, in the municipality of Formosa ( GO). The suspect, identified as Ronaldo Félix, is the brother of country singer Diego, from the duo Diego & Victor Hugo.
A Police action served a preventive arrest warrant against the suspect, who had been wanted since February for marijuana trafficking in the municipality of Goiás. According to the Goiás Civil Police (PCGO), in the investigator’s history there is an arrest in the first half of 2022 – at the time, he would be in possession of 20 kilos of marijuana.

According to investigations, Félix would be a member of the criminal organization Primeiro Comando da Capital (PCC), in addition to being an old friend of the PCGO. In February of this year, he allegedly exchanged fire with agents during an operation aimed at his capture.
Authorities claim that Félix owns several farms in the region where he was arrested. They would be used to store large amounts of marijuana brought from Goiânia. His stock would serve to supply a traffic point in the city.
