Two weeks of bush drama are over… Djamila Rowe is the new jungle queen!
It’s over! No more appetizers of pig penis, goat anus and mouse tail. Gigi and Djamila remained, hugging each other. Djamila could hardly believe that she was among the last two: “Don’t you think they miscounted? I can’t believe it.” One thing was obvious: the two gave each other the win.
One last time they were allowed to call on the viewers to vote for them. At 12:18 a.m. the redeeming message: Djamila is the queen of the jungle! She can’t believe it, keeps saying: “I’m sick!”

The newly crowned winner: “A big THANK YOU to everyone who supported me out there, who recognized my soul and who saw who I really am. I would also like to thank everyone here on site for the good and also exhausting time. It’s still like a dream.” After this speech, even presenter Sonja Zietlow shed a few tears.
The sympathies were already clear in the previously broadcast “Countdown to the Final”: Most of the guests, such as the reigning jungle king Filip Pavlović (28) and Harald Glööckler (57), who was connected via video, wanted Djamila Rowe on the throne.

The fact that Lucas Cordalis had made it to the final caused speculation on social media. Many viewers even assumed that the phone calls for Lucas Cordalis had been bought through a booked call center. The hashtag #CallcenterCordalis even started trending on Twitter. When welcoming the finale, presenter Sonja Zietlow (54) did not miss the opportunity to jokingly respond to the allegations: “A warm Namaste to our Indian friends on mobile devices.”

Before the king’s coronation, however, the residents had to take another test in order to win the respective courses of a desired menu. And of course they have it all! Djamila Rowe gets a classic of the “IBES” challenges: The glass aquarium. The Berliner has to stick her head into it, and the aquarium is then not only filled with water, but also with disgusting creatures.
Also present: eels, crayfish, water spiders and toads. But Djamila keeps coughing, suddenly pulls the emergency device and thus breaks off the exam!
However, the reason is not the reptile world in the aquarium, but the water. That shot Djamila in the nose and prevented her from breathing: “Water came through her nose. I couldn’t breathe anymore!” The result: zero stars. So there is neither a starter for the three finalists nor a drink for Djamila. She can’t hide her disappointment: “It annoys me. It sucks!”

Gigi is tempted to play for the main course: he can always choose between a plate with a delicacy and one with disgusting food. Of course there is only one star for the disgusting things. When it comes to the pig uterus, Gigi stops short: “What is a uterus?” Moderator Jan Köppen wants to spare the young reality star the truth and claims: “It’s a rock band. Or a satellite.”
Nevertheless, Gigi once again presents his choking sounds, which the viewers know so well from the previous exams – and spits out the uterus again. Even the “Surströmming Cocktail” with fermented fish does not want to stay in the stomach. Nevertheless, Gigi can contribute three stars to the big final dinner.

And Lucas also makes every effort to organize a dessert for himself and his comrades-in-arms. He has to endure eight minutes in a kind of open coffin with 15 kilograms of mealworms, 25,000 cockroaches and several rats. Lucas has to unscrew his stars with his tongue and is confident of victory: “I give everything!” Lucas can earn four stars – and even notices a companion who doesn’t leave his side: “I think I have a cockroach in my ear. “
With a total of seven stars, a decent gourmet menu is in it. Djamila gets the dish that has become the dictum of the current season: Spaghetti Bolognese. Lucas’ steak causes him tears of happiness: “I could cry.”
And Gigi also gets pasta: he dreamily tastes Penne Carbonara. The dessert provides further moments of happiness: there is chocolate ice cream with cream and strawberries, a cheese platter and crème brulée.
