Pochefstrom: India started the Junior Women’s Hockey World Cup with a convincing victory. India thrashed Wales by five goals to one in their first match in Pool D yesterday. Lalrendziami, Mumtaz and Deepika won the toss and elected to field. Millie Home scored a goal for Wales. The tournament, scheduled for last December, has been postponed due to Kovid’s expansion.
