The match of our national futsal team against its Afghan counterpart has now begun in the round of team ranking (5-8) for the Asian Championship held in the Thai capital, Bangkok.

The correspondent of the (INA) reported, “The futsal team is now playing an important match against the Afghan team in the closed Huamark Hall in the Thai capital, Bangkok, as part of the additional qualifying round for the Asian Cup finals that qualifies for the World Cup.”
He added, “The winner of today’s match will qualify to face the winner of the Vietnam-Kyrgyzstan match, which will be held after our match, to obtain the fifth and final qualifying ticket to the World Cup, which will be held in Uzbekistan.”
It is noteworthy that our national futsal team played four matches in the Asian Championship, in which it defeated its Saudi counterpart, lost to the Uzbekistan team, and defeated the Australian team before losing to the host country, Thailand.
