Actor Kamal Haasan has confirmed Kovid. On his return from the United States, he underwent tests for symptoms. The star has been shifted to a hospital after being diagnosed with the disease. He is currently being treated at a private hospital in Chennai.

Kamal Haasan has been on an American tour for the past few days. After returning from there he had a severe cough. Kovid confirmed the player in a subsequent examination. The actor himself informed about this through social media. Kamal tweeted that Kovid has not left us and everyone should be careful.

There was a slight cough after returning from the US trip. Govt infection was confirmed on examination. I am isolated in the hospital. Realize that the epidemic is not over yet and everyone is safe.

The star canceled several events he was supposed to attend today. ‘Vikram’ directed by Lokesh Kanakaraj is Kamal Haasan’s upcoming film. The film also stars Fahad Fazil and Vijay Sothupathi in the lead roles. The film is expected to release in April next year.
