Kamal’s Nammavar film won three national awards!

by time news
Nammavara is one of the titles referring to Kamal as Lord of Alvarpet, Prince of Love, Artist and Hero of the World. Kamal made a film with that name. His appearance in the movie with beard and glasses attracted the fans.

Kamal had written the story and screenplay of Nammavar. Kamal has always been interested in adapting his favorite foreign language films into Tamil. Nammavar film was also inspired by English film.

In 1967, the English film To Sir, With Love was released. Made in Britain. Set in a school campus backdrop, the film has been remade in several languages. That means embraced.

In 1957, they adapted the novel of the same name into the film Two Sir, With Love. Then its sequel was made for television 30 years later.

They combined the story of this film with the 1982 Canadian film Class of 1984 and the 1987 Hollywood film The Principal.

They shot Class of 1984 in Malayalam ahead of us. Directed by Priyadarshan, starring Mohanlal. Mohanlal will play the role of a college professor in the film titled Seppu. He will go out of his way to correct the student who is responsible for all the gross mischief going on there. But eventually he will not be able to do it.

Ours is almost the same story. Kamal as Mohanlal. Karan in the role played by Ganesh Kumar as an unruly student. We will have all the important scenes of the Malayalam movie like the beating that takes place when showing the college for the first time, Mohanlal and Ganesh Kumar clashing in the toilet, Mohanlal’s scooter being burnt by Ganesh Kumar’s men, an intoxicated student climbing a flagpole and falling to his death. A scooter means a bike in it, a flagpole means a staircase in it. Kamal’s illness is not the only one in it.

Malayalam film Raa will be grounded in reality. Kamal would have touched the melodrama with the character of Nagesh and his daughter Brinda. Nagesh initially did not want to play the role. Kamal acted out of compulsion. Excited to cast Nagesh in various roles, Kamal gave him a different character and made it an unforgettable character.

The film earned Nagesh the National Award for Best Supporting Actor. Music composer Mahesh Mahadevan also received the National Award and Special Mention Award for Best Tamil Film. Another person Kamal insisted on was Brinda, the dance master who played Nagesh’s daughter. Nammavar is the only film he acted in.

KS Sethumadavan’s direction and Madhu Ambat’s cinematography were excellent in our opinion. Especially Karan, who played the role of a hooligan student, raised eyebrows saying Yarra this. Gautami has a small role.

1994 Nammavar was released on 2nd Diwali and became a success by collecting Rs 7 crore more than Nammavar Budget. Dubbed and released as Purabasar Viswam in Telugu. It went smoothly there. Kozuru information is that Ananthu suggested the name Nammavar for this film.
