Kanchipuram student Neena and student Sarathraj have brought pride to India by winning medals in the Asia-level kickboxing tournament held in Thailand. In this case, Kanchipuram District Collector Aarthi personally called them and praised them.
Neena is pursuing BA in Tamil from Kanchipuram Pachaiyappan College for Women. Kanchipuram student Neena won gold medal and light contact bronze medal in creative form category in 20 countries including China, Pakistan, Iran and Iraq Asia level kickboxing competition held in Thailand from 10th to 18th of this month.

Similarly, Sarathraj is a first year PCA student at Akshaya College in Uttaramerur near Kanchipuram. He has also won a bronze medal in the light contact category in the Asian level kickboxing competition. In this case, the district collector Aarti personally called the two people from Kanchipuram who made India proud today. District Revenue Officer Sivaruthrayya, District Sports Officer S. Ramesh and Kickboxing Instructor Arun were also present during the event.
