Nikhil Siddharth and Anupama Parameswaran’s superhit Telugu film Karthikeya 2 is also coming to the screens in Kerala. The Malayalam version of the film will release on September 23. Ahead of the release, the Malayalam trailer of Karthikeya 2 has been released. After the trailer was released on YouTube, the audience commented that they thought the film would not be released in Kerala. The film is produced by People’s Media Factory and Abhishek Aggarwal Art Banner. E4 Entertainments are the distributors in Kerala. The Nikhil-Chandu Montetti collaboration film was a huge success.
Karthikeya 2 entered the 100 crore club at the box office with a small budget. The film collected 120 crores from the global box office. The Hindi version of the film alone earned more than 30 crores. The film also earned $2 million overseas. The makers hope that the movie will get the same acceptance in Malayalam as it did in other languages. Malayalam actor Anupama Parameswaran plays the role of Mugda. Nikhil plays the role of Karthikeya. Karthikeya 2 is a film that can be enjoyed by young children to the elderly.
