Stellar Cast Assembles for FX’s New Drama Pilot, “Disinherited”
A compelling new drama is taking shape at FX, with a powerhouse ensemble cast joining the pilot for “Disinherited.” The project,announced initially in June,promises a gripping narrative centered around an unexpected inheritance and the secrets it unearths.
Joining previously announced leads Victoria Pedretti and Kiera Allen are a stellar group of actors, including tracy Letts, Carrie Coon, Corey Stoll, Karl Glusman, and Jonathan Higginbotham – have signed on to star in the FX drama pilot “Disinherited,” according to reports. Ruck is fresh off his acclaimed performance as Connor Roy in HBO’s “Succession,” a role for which he received both a Golden Globe and Emmy nomination throughout the show’s four-season run. He is also well-known for his comedic timing in the sitcom “Spin City” and his memorable roles in films such as “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off,” “Speed,” “Twister,” and “Star trek Generations.”
Marsan’s profile has risen steadily with his portrayal of the titular character’s elder brother in the Showtime series “Ray Donovan.” He has recently appeared in “King & Conquer,” “The Bombing of Pan Am 103,” “Hearstopper,” and “Supacell,” and boasts a filmography including “Vera Drake,” “Happy-Go-Lucky,” and “The World’s End.”
Glusman is known for his work in film, including roles in “Nocturnal Animals” and “Eenie Meanie,” and previously starred in Alex Garland’s FX limited series “Devs.” He is set to appear alongside Glenn Powell in the upcoming film “the running Man.”
Higginbotham recently starred in the second season of Netflix’s “Survival of the Thickest.” His television credits also include “The Walking Dead: Dead city,” “Shining Vale,” and “The Blacklist.” He made his Broadway debut in Jeremy O. Harris’ “Slave Play,” portraying the character of Phillip.
