Prime Minister Kaja Kallas said that she had sent the loan agreement drawn up for her husband’s company and two appendices to the agreement to the members of the special committee of the Riigikogu.
According to Kallas, she has always been completely honest and transparent about her income, and correctly declared her economic interests. “Declarations were available to everyone, because I have nothing to hide. The witch hunt that the opposition staged for me because of the activities of my husband’s business partner has gone beyond the tolerable, ”Kallas wrote on social networks.
According to Kallas, the members of the opposition, who are members of the special committee of the Riigikogu, surprised her with a question about the exact date of the conclusion of the loan agreements with her husband. “I don’t understand how this relates to the topic, but to show that I really have nothing to hide, I just sent the members of the commission a loan agreement with my spouse’s company and two annexes to this agreement,” Kallas wrote.
“I am making this move knowing full well that my move may surprise the EKREIKE politicians, but they will not let it confuse them. No matter what I answer them, they will continue to repeat, like an old gramophone record, that my answers did not satisfy them. Unfortunately, I cannot offer them better answers than honesty and transparency, so I predict in advance that everything will continue, because at the moment it is the witch hunt that is the only goal of opposition politicians. They do not look for the truth, do not listen to explanations and do not believe any documents – the opposition has long sentenced me, and the facts and evidence only hinder them, ”Kallas added.
