Kerala Blasters FC, these players may not be seen in kerala blasters fcs jersey for next season, these players may not be seen in kerala blasters fcs jersey for next season

by time news
2022-23 was an uneventful season for Kerala Blasters. The team reached the playoffs in the Indian Super League and fell in front of Bengaluru FC in the eliminator. Despite not reaching the semi-finals, they can be proud of making it to the playoffs as one of the top six teams.

Blasters, who have given many memorable moments to the fans this season too, will come out with many changes in the next season. Some players whose contracts expire after this season may not be with the Blasters next season. So let’s see who are the Indian players who are unlikely to be seen in Blasters after this season…

1. Jessel Carneiro

Jesal Carneiro, the left back star, is currently the captain of Kerala Blasters FC. The 32-year-old Goan player’s contract with Blasters expires at the end of May. The player had a brilliant performance in his first season with the Blasters in 2019-20, but was only a shadow of it in the subsequent seasons. This season too, Jessel showed a game that disappointed the fans a lot. The fans have seen Jessel’s mistakes in many matches leading to Blasters’ defeat. The Blasters are unlikely to reach a new contract with Jessel, who is out of contract.

2. Harmanjot Khabra

Harmanjot Khabra is another Indian player who is unlikely to be seen in the Blasters next season. Khabra was in good form last season but has been a complete disappointment this season. Currently, this right-back star has passed the age of 34. Given his age and recent form, it is highly unlikely that the Blasters will offer Khabra a new contract.

1. Karanjit Singh

Thirty-seven-year-old Karanjit Singh is currently the oldest player in Kerala Blasters FC. This senior goalkeeper, who joined the Blasters this season, was with the team as a backup to Prabhsukhan Gill. Karanjit got a chance in the season only in 2 matches where Gill did not play due to injury. Blasters may not be willing to keep Karanjith as a backup keeper for the coming seasons as he has crossed the age of 37. Especially when the likes of Sachin Suresh are out there waiting for an opportunity.

4. Bidyashagar Singh

Bidyashagar Singh is a player who came to Blasters on loan from Bengaluru FC just before this season. Bidya, who is a forward player, did not get a chance in the starting eleven even in a single game this time. The 25-year-old, who came as a substitute in 6 matches, was on the field for a total of 23 minutes. Blasters were not ready to give Bidya much chance this season and will not bring him into the team once again. So this season will be Bidya’s last with the Blasters.
