Thiruvananthapuram: Four districts have been included in the C category as part of the drive to control the spread of Kovid in the state. Category C is the category that imposes the most restrictions on the number of Kovid patients admitted to the hospital.

Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Idukki and Kottayam districts have been included in the new C category. Currently, only Thiruvananthapuram district is in the C category.

Gym, swimming pool and theater should be closed in C category districts. Religious worship can only be done online. Classes can be conducted directly only in the last semester in educational institutions.
