Khalid Rehman and Mammootty had equal power on the sets of ‘Unda’; Shine Tom Chacko

by time news

Actor Shine Tom Chacko says Mammootty must have listened to Khaled like a schoolboy during the shooting of Unda. Shine said that at the age of 26, he was afraid to go to Mammootty and say ‘ready to shoot’ and as a director, he needed to know the soul of the story and the ability to lead a team, which he only saw in Khaled Rahman. The actor said these things in an interview given to Film Companion.

During the shooting of ‘Unda’, actor Mammootty used to listen to Khaled Rahman like a schoolboy. That’s when I realized the power of both of them. Rahman is 26 years old. At the age of 26, I was afraid to even go to Mammootty and say, Sir, I am shot ready. But on the sets of ‘Unda’, Mammootty sat patiently listening to Khaled. Mammootty used to ask Khalid to take it one more time sir. One can only do such things if one loves his work’, said Shine Tom Chacko.

Meanwhile, Mammootty’s film ‘Christopher’ starring Shine Tom Chacko continues to hit the theatres. Directed by B Unnikrishnan, the film is produced by RD Illuminations. Udayakrishna, who has written many hits, has scripted the film. The film has three heroines namely Sneha, Amala Paul and Aishwarya Lakshmi.
