Fahd Bin Al Rasheed, CEO of the Riyadh Royal Commission, said that the King Abdulaziz Transport Project implemented in Riyadh will start working within two months. The project includes metro train and bus services. Bus services connecting metro stations will be inaugurated in the month of March.
Train services will be started in six metro lines in a phased manner. The King Abdulaziz public transport project has been delayed due to slow construction due to Covid. Test runs have begun on several lines of the Riyadh Metro. The project is expected to become the best public transport system in the world.
The public transport system connects with thirty mega projects such as Khediya, an entertainment city under construction, Diriya Gate, an ancient city under development, and King Salman Airport.

More than eighty multinational companies are preparing to set up their headquarters in Riyadh. The population of Riyadh is increasing every year.
