Private police in Coimbatore are investigating Pijinkutty’s brother Moses, who is accused in the Kodanad murder and robbery case.

The probe into the Kodanad murder and robbery case has intensified since August last year. On the 15th, a team led by Western Region IG Sudhakar launched an investigation into the office of the former MLA Aaru Kutty at the Coimbatore Police Training Center. He and his family were interrogated that day. Following this, AIADMK leader Anupav Ravi, AIADMK trade team leader Sajeevan, his brother CB, Jayalalithaa’s interview assistant Poonkunran and former MLA Aaru Kutty’s assistant Narayanasamy were subsequently questioned.

Poonkunna, who was Jayalalithaa’s interview assistant, was interrogated for almost twenty-seven hours in three phases. In this context, the police are investigating the whereabouts of Pisin’s brother Moses, the sixth accused in the Kodanad murder and robbery case. Two more have arrived with Moses and are said to be under investigation. Sajeevan’s brother CB is also said to be friends of Moses.

Police are investigating from various angles, including whether Moses spoke to CB when Pijin and others were trapped in checkpoints during the Kodanad murder and robbery incidents. Moses’ place is already under investigation and the next step is to stand up for a full and comprehensive investigation and be called in by the personal police.
