Konami confirmed the name of the team that is developing the remake of Metal Gear Solid 3officially titled Metal Gear Solid Delta. And is it… the same Konami?
Well more or less. According to a response to a tweet posted by the publisher, Metal Gear Solid Delta is being developed by an internal Konami teambut with support from virtuosoan independent studio based in Singapore.
If this name sounds familiar to you, it’s because Virtuos has had a hand in several successful video games in recent years, mainly as technical support. His most acclaimed delivery has been the port of NieR: Automata for Nintendo Switchwhich—by the standards of what’s possible on the laptop—came out better than we all expected.
