Driver’s License Revoked After Bus Driver Hits Car in Kozhikode
In a shocking incident in Kozhikode, the license of a bus driver has been recommended for revocation after he stopped the bus in the middle of the city road and hit the car driver. The Kasaba police have arrested the bus driver, Sabarish, a native of Thiruvannur, on charges including attempt to murder.
The incident occurred when the car passengers questioned the bus hit in Mananchira. Sabarish, who drives the Alfa bus on the Beypur-Medical College route, allegedly beat the car driver, with a complaint also stating that the car driver’s wife was insulted. A video taken by their son was released, shedding light on the brutal beating.
Sabarish claimed that the car driver spat on his face, leading to the altercation. The police have said that they will investigate if more people are involved in the incident.
