Second Vehicle Stranded in Same Location Prompts DUI Examination
A concerning pattern is emerging as a second vehicle became immobilized in teh same location within a three-hour span, leading to the arrest of a driver suspected of operating under the influence. Authorities are investigating potential drug addiction and the driverS lack of a valid license.
A press officer with Skyss, Ingrid Dreyer, confirmed that the incident has not disrupted light rail service.
The latest incident occurred after a previous vehicle became stuck in the same spot, prompting concerns about a potential hazard – described by one official as a “shoal” – in the area. The second vehicle did not travel as far as the first before becoming disabled.

Bjarte Rebnord, operations manager in the West Police District, identified the driver as a man in his 30s from Eastern Europe.”The driver does not have a valid driver’s license,” Rebnord stated.
The driver is currently undergoing a blood test at a local emergency room. According to Rebnord, authorities have “suspicion of drug addiction” and are also investigating the possibility of drunken driving.
The police are treating this as a serious matter, given the short timeframe between the two incidents and the driver’s lack of proper credentials. The ongoing investigation will determine the full extent of the charges.
