Kuberci signed a new contract with Barcelona on Thursday (May 9). At that time, Barcelona president Juan Laporta was present. According to the contract, the Spaniard will stay at the Catalan club until June 2027. The release clause is set at 500 million euros.
Kuberci joined Barcelona’s academy at the age of 11 in 2018 from Girona. He signed a one-year contract with the team in June last year. He made his debut for the main team in the Copa del Rey match last January. The team made their La Liga debut in the next match against Real Betis.
Kuberci has played 20 matches for Barcelona in all competitions so far. He won the Man of the Match award for his impressive performance against Napoli in the last 16 of the Champions League last March. He was also called up to the Spain national team for the first time last March after a brilliant performance for the club.
