In recent days, a documentary has been circulated on social media of Deputy Prime Minister Yair Lapid from 2015, in which he is seen telling a story about him being shot in Lebanon. Today (Monday), he suddenly did not understand what it was all about.
In a video circulated on social media, Lapid was seen pathetically recounting, “I was shot in Lebanon, Katyusha missed me by a few meters in Kiryat Shmona.”
During a statement he made to the Knesset media today, one of the journalists asked him about this video and what his reaction was, in light of the fact that many doubted that he had been shot.
Lapid was embarrassed and responded: “I have no idea what you are talking about; you are talking about … is this a question from 40 years ago? I do not know what it is about. Bring it to me … I do not know what it is about, bring it to me I will talk.”
