Latvia highly appreciates the role of Azerbaijan as the chairman of the Non-Aligned Movement

We highly appreciate the role of Azerbaijan as the chairman of the Non-Aligned Movement, a platform with more than 120 members of the majority of UN members.

AZERTAC informs that the President of Latvia Egils Levits expressed this opinion in his statement to the press after the meeting with the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.

“We will put forward our candidacy as a member of the UN Security Council for 2025. We hope to win the support of the members of the Non-Aligned Movement in this matter,” said the President of Latvia.
