This morning, Wednesday, in Tripoli, the activities of the Second Libyan-Tunisian Forum 2023, organized by the Arab World Federation for Transport and Services, kicked off to open the field of investment, support investors in both countries, and establish partnerships dealing with transport, services, communications, and tourism. The activities of the forum were attended by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Economy, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Communications for Air Transport Affairs, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Communications for Land Transport Affairs, the President of the Arab World Federation for Transport and Services, the Director General of the Tripoli Sea Port, the Tunisian Ambassador and a number of interested persons. The forum aims to review the agreements concluded between the two countries and develop a mechanism for their implementation and improve the infrastructure of land, sea and air transport to provide the best services to the citizens of the two countries and the flow of goods shipment and facilitate entry and exit procedures at the land ports of the two countries and the implementation of the unified window at the ports. Libyan news that the forum aims to enhance economic cooperation between the two countries in all types of land, sea and air transport, discuss investment opportunities between the two countries, facilitate land and air transport procedures and open new sea lines. Souissi added that the national unity government has worked on this file since the beginning of its work to alleviate the suffering of the citizen in moving by land, and has held many meetings with the Tunisian side with the aim of expanding the land outlets in Ras Jedir, indicating that there are measures being taken to open the sea line between Libya and Tunisia to facilitate movement. between the two countries, whether passenger traffic or cargo traffic.
