EL NUEVO DIARIO, SANTO DOMINGO.- Lawyer Elim Sepúlveda accused the owner of the company Indisarq this Friday of having defrauded several people of more than 100 million dollars, with the false promise of selling apartments.

Sepúlveda said that supposedly Mr. Manuel Rivera had been paid the initial payment for several apartments, which they never received despite the time that has passed.

The jurist referred to the scandal of alleged fraud, when interviewed by communicators Jaime Rincón and Edward Ramírez in the program “El Nuevo Diario en la Tarde”, broadcast on the digital platform El Nuevo Diario TV.

“It turns out that several families that I represent, especially the Montero family, handed over the money in response to a promise to deliver an apartment without ever receiving it,” he said.

He said that on the other hand, the promise to deliver the apartments was not fulfilled, despite having given his initials, after it was discovered that the land to build them did not exist.

“We are talking about a scam by Rivera that involves the sum of 100 million dollars, which could be a higher sum given the new information we have about the cases,” he stated.
