Xiaomi is preparing to launch its expected phones, Xiaomi “12T” and “12T Pro” during the coming period, and they are expected to arrive with the same names for the global market outside China, and a new leak revealed the specifications and pricing of the new phones before their official launch.
The two phones will come with a 6.67-inch screen with a resolution of 1022 * 2712 pixels, with a refresh rate of 120 Hz screen display, and it will be protected by a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
The two phones offer a battery with a capacity of 5000 mAh, with a super wired charging speed of 120 watts, and there are no details about the wireless charging speed.
Xiaomi tried to reduce production costs by replacing the metal frame of the two phones with a plastic one, while the Chinese company distinguished the “Pro” version of the new phones through the processor and rear camera.
The Xiaomi 12T Pro phone comes with a 200-megapixel rear camera with an f/1.69 lens slot, and it carries the distinctive Samsung HP1 sensor, which comes in a size of 1/1.22 inches, which is the same as the Motorola Edge 30 camera sensor, except that the Motorola camera has a narrower f/1.9 lens slot.
As for the Xiaomi 12T phone, it comes with a rear camera with a 108-megapixel main lens with an f/1.65 lens slot, and the phone will share the rest of the rear camera lenses with the “Pro” version, which will be a second 8-megapixel lens with a very wide shooting angle, and a third 2-megapixel camera for macro photography. The two phones have a selfie camera and its accuracy will be 2 megapixels.
The “Pro” version will also work with the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 processor, while the standard Xiaomi 12T version will come with a Mediatek “Dimensity 1000 Ultra” processor and will come with an 8 GB option, while the “Pro” version will offer two options of 8 or 12 GB RAM, in addition to offering Xiaomi 12T There are two options for internal memory 128 and 256 GB, while the Pro version comes with an option of 256 GB only.
The prices of the new Xiaomi phones will start from 650 euros for the standard version of the 12T phones, while the “Pro” version starts from 850 euros, and the phones are expected to be launched by this week.
Comparing those expected prices for the Xiaomi “12T” phones with the Xiaomi 12 family, the Xiaomi 12 Pro phone starts at 900 euros, certainly due to the different capabilities, especially at the level of the rear camera, while the Xiaomi 12 starts at 700 euros.
