Unni Mukundan and Aparna Balamurali teaming up for the first time, the first song of the film Mindyum Kantam is out. The video of the song Neye Neshil has been released. The song follows two young Geminis who find happiness despite the hardships of a leaky home on a rainy night.
The lyrics of the song which starts with Neye Neshil are penned by Sujesh Hari. Suraj S. The music is composed by Kurup. Sooraj has also sung the song along with Mridula Warrier. Jafar Idukki, Jude Anthony Joseph, Mala Parvathy, Geethi Sangeeta, Sohan Seenulal, R. J. Murugan, Prashant Murali, Athira Suresh, R. J. Vijitha, Siva Hariharan and others play other characters.
The film is directed by Arun Bose, who made a name for himself with his debut film Luca. Directed by Salim Ahmed under the banner of Allans Media, the film is co-produced by Kabir Kottaram and Razak Ahmed. Cinematography by Madhu Ampat. The film has been written by Mridul George along with the director. Editing by Kiran Das.
Malikappuram is Unni Mukundan’s last released film. Directed by Vishnu Shashi Shankar, the film hit the theaters on December 30. Indrans, Manoj K Jayan, Saiju Kurup, Ramesh Pisharati, Sampath Ram, Sripath, Devananda and Alfie Panjikaran played other important roles in the film.
