There are many people who enjoy so many annual festivals, festivals or, in short, concerts as they can during the time ofsummer. But things also came out of there that seemed to bring back this desire to party with more energy and more rhythm. It all started with two girls – Maria and Gero – and a shared idea: to make a group with a different touch, and it ended up being a band of eight members. But that’s not the only thing that makes them unique, it’s about one version group with one repertoire also fully and exclusively feminine.

“The name of the group came from a brainstorm, we thought we’d make one play on words with the fact that we are all girls, that there are no female groups and that we are a band, it was perfect”, says Addaia, guitarist from Empordà in the Barcelona band. He assures that both with the name and his presence on the stage, they want claim the lack of women in them posters and show that “aunties can also have good parties”. “If it is true that the musical paradigm is beginning to changewe are lucky that our proposal is working, but we need more month women in this industry“, he wanted to add.
