We already have a first review, an official price before tax for the American market as well, as well as first models in a dedicated design from some of the marketing partners – the actual launch of Intel video cards in the Arc era is definitely moving in the right direction, one small step at a time. now, tweet Twitter reveals to us a starting price of 431 euros for the advanced Arc A770 model, with 16GB of dynamic memory, in an online hardware store in Germany (which already managed to finish all its stock within a few hours, it seems).
In the attached picture you can see the A770 card, in the limited edition free of development by Intel itself, in a pair of stores at a price of 431.18 euros and at a price of 461 euros, including the local equivalent of VAT in both cases – which means that the prices are NIS 1,490 and NIS 1,595 Shekels respectively.
This price is of course higher than the recommended price of $349 for the model with 16GB of GDDR6 presented by Intel a few weeks ago, but this is because the prices for the American market are traditionally shown without the added tax that varies from country to country within it, so when you take this recommended price, which translates For 1,250 shekels in an era where the dollar is worth more than the euro, and adding the Israeli VAT comes to a price tag that is very close to the cheap one from the German store documented in the tweet.
Will we soon be able to buy the Arc A770 at prices of about NIS 1,500 in Israel as well? In the meantime we do not have concrete evidence of this unfortunately, but there is no doubt that some availability of the model in Europe at a price close to the intended one is a positive progress, and certainly preferable to a situation where the model is not available on the market somewhere outside of the Far East or North America.
The pricing in question from the previous paragraphs also gives room for comparisons with AMD and NVIDIA models at their current prices, naturally, when already in the tweet it is explained that the price of the Arc A770 is slightly lower than the prices of the RTX 3060 Ti and RX 6700 XT models in Germany, but at the same A breath about 50 euros higher than the prices of the RTX 3060 and the RX 6600 XT which more adequately reflect its average performance – something that is also refined for us in the American version, where one of the Radeon RX 6650 XT models can currently be found at 285 Only a dollar as a base and at 343 dollars including VAT and delivery to the house, that is 1,240 shekels approximately for a graphics card with capabilities similar to those of the card from Intel.
One legitimate advantage that could work in the A770’s favor in this specific case is 16GB of built-in graphics memory, compared to half the volume in the competitors – which should help to obtain better performance under high resolutions or in specific titles that correctly utilize a large amount of memory. This is in addition to the advanced media encoding and decoding capabilities that may also make the A770 a favorite among some consumers. Bottom line, the current price probably also has potential – and all that remains now is to continue promoting the availability of tickets around the globe through collaborations with as many sub-suppliers as possible and by constantly improving the software and firmware technical support aspect.
This news comes not long after Intel also announced an official price of $289 (before tax, as usual) for the Arc A750 which reduces about 25 percent of the number of active processing units and 50 percent of the GDDR6 volume of the model – The leading Arc A770 – still without practical availability that we know of anywhere in the world.
That means the mid-range Arc A580 model is the only one we know of that remains unannounced at this point, although until we can head out to our favorite store and find these products in stock the differences between an officially launched model and one that hasn’t yet been launched will continue to be very slim. .
