The share reorganization of Lifebrain of Investindustrial is now at the final stage. For the Italian leader in laboratory analysis and diagnostic services, three purchase offers have arrived from France: it would be in pole position, for the acquisition, Cerba Healthcare, owned by private equity Eqt. The offer, according to various rumors, arrived about ten days ago on the table of the advisors in charge, Goldman Sachs e Jp Morgan.

Cerba Healthcare has already increased the Italian presence: in fact, in January 2017 it was the turn of the Milanese Delta Medica; subsequently, in July 2017, it had acquired Fleming Research, Network of clinical analysis laboratories and diagnostic centers with offices in Milan in via Biancamaria and in Viale Jenner, and in Novara, Biella, Arona, Abbiategrasso, Corsico, Cesano Boscone, Busto Arsizio, Trezzano sul Naviglio; again, in October 2019 it was the turn of Curie Srl, Diagnostic imaging and therapy; and finally, in March 2020, he bought the Solbiatese Diagnostic Center (CDS), located in Solbiate Olona, in the province of Varese.

The other two proposals would come from another transalpine group, that is Inovie Group, which has as its shareholder the private equity Ardian. The last offer would instead be that of Biogroup. Lifebrain, taken over by Investindustrial in 2018, predicts a Ebitda of about 100 million euros in 2021 from about 50 million in 2019, thanks to the acquisition campaign carried out in recent years.
