As he had announced on social networks, Cristiano Ronaldo had not made the short trip to Liverpool for this important match in the race for qualification for the Champions League. “Family is more important than anything and Ronaldo is supporting his loved ones at this extremely difficult time,” the Red Devils wrote in a statement quoted by the Manchester Evening News.
