Thiruvananthapuram: The controversy over the arrival of Anitha Pulla, the mediator in the archeological fraud case against Monson Mavungal, in the Loka Kerala Sabha is intensifying. Anita Pullayil was not invited by NORKA. Sri Ramakrishnan said. He also suspected that they may have entered using the Open Forum pass.
According to the Speaker’s Office, Anita had given the Open Forum Pass to all the expatriate organizations. Anita also said that she had come to participate in the open forum. She added that she did not participate in any of the sessions of the Loka Kerala Sabha.
They were present all the time in the assembly complex where the Loka Kerala Sabha session was being held. However, officials said their names were not on the delegation list. Anitha Pulla was in the office of Sabha TV, which operates in the Assembly complex, when she was seen by the media.
When they came out of the assembly, the media tried to find out their reaction but Watch and Ward intervened and stopped them. Earlier she was a representative of Loka Kerala Sabha. But this time he was not invited due to controversy.
Strict restrictions were imposed on entry into the Assembly complex where the Loka Kerala Sabha is held. Mystery remains as to how they overcame that and got to the venue.
Meanwhile, Anitha Pulla was questioned by the Crime Branch yesterday. The interrogation was part of a case in which the victim’s name was revealed in the rape case of Monson Maungdaw. Anitha Pullayil testified that she did not know that she was a victim. The interrogation took place at the Ernakulam Crime Branch office. A complaint has been filed against Monson for allegedly raping an office worker following an antiquities scam. Anita had posted the name of the victim on social media at the time. The questioning comes months after a complaint was lodged against it.
The complaint against Anita was that Monson Maungdaw had used his high influence and connections to commit archeology. Anita’s explanation is that it was not related to Monson’s cheating and that she withdrew from the friendship when she realized the lie. The case is being investigated by the Crime Branch but they have not been charged.
Anitha Pulla is also in the ED’s investigation into the money laundering case. Under these circumstances, Anitha Pulla spent the entire time inside the Assembly complex, even though she was not even a guest in the Loka Kerala Sabha.
