Betul: In Betul district of Madhya Pradesh, a mother’s friend murdered her six-year-old son by slitting his throat with a beer bottle. The accused is in police custody. According to the information received from the police, a woman named Sangeeta was married to Arun of Gondhu Mandai village. Arun lives in the village and does farming. The woman was living in Betul with her child. During this time, she got acquainted with Ganesh Meena, a resident of Khirkiya in Harda district and she started living with him.
According to the information received, six year old Shiva alias Shivam had gone to school on Tuesday morning. From here accused Ganesh Meena took him with himself. Ganesh broke a beer bottle and slit the throat of a child in ELC Colony of Sadar Bazar at the district headquarters. Seeing the accused covered in blood, the people of the colony informed the police. SDOP Shalini Paraste said that information about the murder was received around 11.30 in the morning. Ganj police immediately reached the spot in front of VVM College. During investigation, information was found about the mother, after which she was informed.
Rajendra Thomas, living in ELC Colony, said that some sounds were coming from his garage. I thought he must be a thief. When I went there, a young man came out carrying a bag. Blood stained things were found in his bag. There was blood on his hands and legs also. Didn’t say anything even when asked. Then the police was informed.
