DAVIDSON, N.C. — Loyola Chicago lost Friday night’s rematch against Davidson, 84-64, as the Ramblers continued to struggle in Atlantic 10 Conference play.

Loyola Chicago suffered a 20-point loss to Davidson, falling to 6-19 overall and 2-10 in A-10 play.

The Ramblers fell behind early, letting Davidson jump to a 7-4 lead before the first media timeout. Davidson continued its hot shooting, extending its lead with a 7-0 run that forced a Loyola timeout.

Parker Friedrichsen led Davidson’s offensive charge, hitting three consecutive three-pointers as the Wildcats built a 20-point advantage. Loyola’s bench attempted to spark a comeback, with Daniil Glazkov scoring five straight points and Nic Anderson adding a three-pointer. Xavier Amos and Rubin also contributed late in the first half, but Davidson maintained a comfortable lead, going into halftime ahead 47-29.

The second half saw Davidson maintain control, despite a slightly improved offensive rhythm from Loyola. Rubin scored the first points of the half for the Ramblers, but Davidson quickly pushed its lead back to 21. The Wildcats ultimately secured the victory, 84-64, after leading by as many as 24 points.
