There is a case going on in the Supreme Court regarding the government announcing freebies to the people. The Congress announcement is expected to give fresh impetus to the debate on freebies and subsidies towards Arvind Kejriwal’s Aam Aadmi Party.
The case is pending before the Supreme Court. In a hearing in August, the Supreme Court recommended that the matter be discussed among all parties.
