Luton captain Tom Lockyer left the hospital on Wednesday where he had been since his heart attack on December 16 during the match, his club announced on Thursday, without giving any indication of the rest of his career.
The 29-year-old defender “began a period of rehabilitation in the comfort of his home following his release from hospital on Wednesday,” Luton Town FC said. Saturday’s match, stopped after Lockyer’s heart attack, will be completely replayed, on a date not yet determined, the English Professional League announced on Wednesday.
