The Panguni Uttar Therottam was held on Thursday at the Madanagopala Swamy Temple in Perambalur.
The Panguni Uttara Festival started with the flag hoisting on the 9th at the Maragathavalli Thaya Sametha Madanagopala Swamy Temple in Perambalur. Following this, Swami was adorned in various vehicles daily and came to visit Tiruvedi and bless the devotees. The main event of the festival was held at 10 a.m. Thursday. Perambalur MLA h. Prabhakaran pulled the toad rope and started.
Continuing on, Therodum crawled through the streets and reached the night stage.
Temple Executive Officer Anita, former Board of Trustees Chairman Rajendran, former Trustees T.P. Swami was attended by a large number of devotees including Vaitheeswaran, Saravanan, Adiperukku Anjaneya Uvala Committee Chairman Kuma.
This is followed by Friday morning (March 18) morning devotional service and night saptavaranam.
