The trailer of Unni Mukundan’s latest film Malikappuram has been released. The makers have released a trailer that makes the audience curious about the story of the film. The main character of the film is a little girl who wants to meet Ayyappan. The film is expected to hit the theaters this Mandal season itself.
Child actors Sripath and Devananda are also playing lead roles in the film. Devananda plays the title character. The film is directed by debutant Vishnu Shashi Shankar. Malikappuram is a film that tells the story of Ayyappan’s greatest devotee, Malikappuramthamma. Malikapuram is a fantasy family drama film.

When the shooting of the film started, Unnimukundan wrote on Facebook that he was able to be a part of this film due to Ayyappaswamy’s blessings. The screenplay of the film is written by Abhilash Pillai. After Amala Paul’s Kadawar, Malikappuram is scripted by Abhilash Pillai.
Malikappuram is a film produced by Priya Venu and Neeta Pinto under the banner of Kavya Film Company and An Mega Media. The film also stars Saiju Kurup, Indrans, Manoj K Jayan, Ramesh Pisharati and Sampath Ram. The cinematography of the film is done by Vishnu Narayanan. Production Controller is Sanjay Patiyur. The film’s music is directed by Ranjin Raj. Santhosh Verma and BK Harinarayan penned the lyrics for the songs.
