Azerbaijani judoka Rashid Mamedaliyev (73 kg) won a silver medal at the Grand Slam tournament in Antalya.

As reported by İdman.biz, he started with a victory over Marko Hristov (Bulgaria), and then defeated Bayram Kandemir (Turkey) and Shakram Akhadov (Uzbekistan). In the semi-finals he defeated Umalt Demirel, and in the final he lost to Adil Osmanov (Moldova). Osmanov’s award was the first for our team in Antalya.
