For the past few days, my aunt has been listening to all the songs in the movie ‘Kurup’ and wants to see the movie ‘Kurup’. It has been asking me for two weeks but I could not do it due to lack of time. But when I called at the theater thinking that I might go yesterday, I came to know that the movie ‘Kurup’ has changed and that Marakkar and another movie is being screened. ‘Kurup’ went home thinking that there was no movie and he could evacuate. But his father accepted his request to go to another movie and decided to watch ‘Marakkar’.
But when I told my close friends that I was going to see the movie ‘Marakkar’, they all treated me in such a way that I was going to commit some big sin. When we went to the theater, people who were waiting to see another movie looked at us with ridicule. Because the rumors circulating in the society about this film were so great. Then I thought that I had just seen the movie.
I watched the movie every minute with the view that it would be too bad. When the interval was over, I asked my wife if there was anything wrong with this movie that so many people say is bad. Have you ever felt anything? But after the interval, people continued to watch the movie thinking that it would be bad. A movie that has all the ingredients of a big budget movie even when viewed to the end. I do not understand whether the mistake made by the cast of this film is to make a historical film without distorting the history.
In any case, I do not believe that many people say that the current campaign is planned because it is the audience that decides whether a film is good or bad. But after witnessing the film, I testified that there was a lot of propaganda against the film to influence the audience as well. This film has everything that a historical film should have. In my opinion, this is a movie that any Malayalee can be proud of … a movie that everyone should watch …
