Honda is going to launch a 100cc bike model named Shine on March 15, 2023 to challenge the Hero Splendor bike. Earlier CB Shine 125cc is the popular model in the market.
In the teaser video released by Honda today, it is mentioned in the name ‘SHINING FUTURE’. Honda sells Livo and CD 110 bikes in the 110cc market.
Honda CB Shine 100
As for the styling of the Shine 100 bike, it is expected to be derived from the Honda CB Shine 125 bike with minor changes. So, the engine that Honda is going to use in this bike will be a new 100cc single cylinder air cooled engine. It can be a bike model that gives very good mileage.
We expect the new Honda motorcycle to be a tough competitor to the likes of Hero Splendor, Hero HF Deluxe, Bajaj Platina 100 and TVS Sport.
The Honda Shine 100 starts at Rs 73,000-76,000, ex-showroom.
Apart from this, Honda plans to launch the new Hynes CB 350 Cafe Racer through select dealers.
