The voice of María Berasarte from San Sebastián has transformed a formal event in the Congress of Deputies for Constitution Day and something much more artistic and exciting. Berasarte has been in charge of opening and closing the central event of this day with reinterpretations of classic songs such as ‘Those small things’ by Joan Manuel Serrat and ‘Al alba’ by Luis Eduardo Aute. Two topics that have excited the attendees, starting with the President of the Government himself, Pedro Sánchez.

The president of the Congress, Francina Armengol, has even confessed that she had been moved by the voice of the San Sebastian artist. A luxurious setting in which ‘La Voz Desnuda’, as the Gipuzkoan is known on the international scene, has shone with her own light.

The event at the Hall of Lost Steps began with the version of ‘Those Little Things’. Berasarte has been accompanied by Pablo Martín Caminero on double bass.

Later, among some voices that have read articles from the Constitution, María Berasarte herself also participated, who was in charge of closing the morning with the famous ‘Al Alba’, which she made her own with an exciting version.
