Carey, 56, posted a photo on Instagram of herself standing in front of a Christmas tree alongside Monroe and Moroccan. Both twins matched their mother’s impressive height, sporting jeans and holiday sweaters emblazoned with Carey’s face. The singer herself radiated festive cheer in a red sequined dress and black boots.

Just two days prior, on Christmas Eve, Carey offered fans another peek into her family’s celebrations. She shared a snapshot of the trio posing with santa Claus and a reindeer outside one of her estates, and also a cozy indoor photo of the family seated next to Kris Kringle. “Christmas Eve 🎅🦌🦌🦌🦌,” she captioned the images.
Growing Up in the Spotlight
While Monroe and Moroccan are now towering over the “Queen of Christmas,” they were still a few inches shorter when they joined their mother onstage last November during her 2024 Christmas concert series at the Hollywood bowl.
“What do you guys think about taking over the show while I go backstage for a little while?” Carey asked her children onstage, to which they excitedly replied, “Really? Seriously, Mom?”
“Yes! Come on, you’re going to be great,” Carey responded, before playfully summoning her glam squad to escort her offstage.”You know I always need an escort.”
Adventures Beyond the Holidays
The family’s adventures extend beyond the winter holidays. Carey shared pictures on Instagram of herself and the twins dressed as popular Japanese characters while celebrating Halloween overseas. Carey donned a Kawaii-inspired costume, while Monroe and Moroccan sported shining yellow and baby blue Kigurumi outfits, respectively. “Happy Halloween from japan!!! 👻🇯🇵,” Carey wrote on Oct. 31.
In September, the singer-songwriter took her children on a trip to the Great Wall of China in Beijing, sharing snapshots of the trio. Carey,ever glamorous in a black dress and heels,later jokingly revealed on X that she regretted her footwear choice,writing,”At the Great Wall of China. Someone should’ve warned me about heels 👠.”
