EUROVISION 2024: CAN GREECE WIN WITH THE DICE?

Marina Satti and her team present Europeans with something original, multicultural and certainly something that is not not a safe choice at all.

The track, with which Marina Satti will try her luck at this year’s Eurovision, it is cut and sewn on the singer’s style and culturecombining many different styles of music.

At the same time, “Zari” is reminiscent of Greece to a great extent, which is… standing request of eurofanswho for years have been asking Greece to send songs with ethnic elements to the competition.

The variety of Marina Satti’s music, which draws inspiration from traditional, Balkan and Arabic influences, creates bridges between different countries and cultures. And that’s great.

The artist refuses to be limited to narrow musical contexts, aiming to offer Europeans an appearance that will be permeated by different artistic influences.

Greece does not send for another year a neurotic, plastic songbut instead enters the competition with a track that has an identity and stands out from the first listen, something very important for the competition, since each artist has only 3 minutes to impress the viewers.

“Zari” does not resemble any of the songs that will compete in this year’s Eurovision and this is a big plus for our participation.

Perfectionist and professional Marina Satti will do everything to present a perfect result on such a big stage, aiming for the best placement in the final standings.

Finally, whether Greece can enter the 5th or the 3rd, will largely depend on how Marina Satti’s appearance can stand out both to the committees and to the television audience. The latter seems more likely.

The quality is there, the catchy element that will attract the attention of foreign viewers is there, the traditional, ethnic element is there, the voice, talent and star quality of Marina Satti are there.

It remains to be seen if this combination can win the interest of the viewers, and if of course this interest will translate into 12 arias.
