The movie ‘Green Card’ of ‘Itihas’ famous filmmaker Kazi Maruf will be released in theaters this Eid-ul-Fitr. He has already started promoting the movie. The movie has been shot entirely in the United States. ‘Green Card’ is based on the lives of Bengalis living in the United States. Kazi Maruf said about the movie, ‘The work was very challenging. I am returning to acting after a long time with this movie. Back with a beautiful social story. The story that will tell the suffering of thousands of young people. They will talk about how they live in the diaspora. Hopefully, the audience will be able to watch the story behind the scenes on the big screen.’

The movie is jointly directed by Kazi Hayat and Roshan Ara Nipa. Kazi Maruf’s daughter is also making her film debut through this movie, he said.

Bangladeshi model, fashion designer and choreographer Nusrat Tisam and Najida Syed, living in America, acted opposite Maruf in the movie. Nausheen, Hillol, Shirin Bakul, child artist Kazi Arisha, Akash Rahman, Rafi Ahmed etc. also acted in various roles in the movie.
