Maruti Suzuki Launches Jimny Thunder Edition in India
Chennai: Maruti Suzuki, India’s leading car manufacturer, has launched the Jimny Thunder Edition in the country. The special edition comes in Zeta and Alpha variants, offering a range of exciting features for the Indian market.
As one of the largest car manufacturers in India, Maruti Suzuki holds a significant share of the passenger car market, accounting for around 44 percent of the market share. The company has been a prominent player in the Indian automotive industry since 1983.
The Jimny SUV, which is already popular in India, has now been introduced in the Thunder Edition, catering to the demands of Indian consumers. The ex-showroom price of the Thunder Edition ranges between Rs 10.74 lakh and Rs 14.05 lakh, making it a competitive offering in the Indian market.
The Jimny Thunder Edition retains the same features as the standard model, including a 1.5-liter, four-cylinder K-series petrol engine, manual and automatic transmission options, a mileage of over 16 kmpl, four-wheel drive capabilities, and safety features such as six airbags, ABS, hill hold control, hill descent control, rearview camera, and brake assist functions.
Additionally, the Alpha variant offers additional features such as a push start/stop button, cruise control, and automatic climate control, providing a luxurious and convenient driving experience for consumers in India.
With the launch of the Jimny Thunder Edition, Maruti Suzuki aims to further strengthen its position in the Indian market and cater to the evolving needs of Indian consumers in the SUV segment.
