A powerful lineup of artists, including Mary in The Junkyard and Blue Bendy, will take the stage at London’s EartH on March 28 for the ‘EartH to Earth’ benefit concert, raising funds for War Child‘s vital work supporting children and families impacted by conflict in Gaza and Sudan. Tickets go on sale this Friday, February 6, at 10:00 AM.

The event aims to provide crucial support to communities grappling with the devastating consequences of ongoing crises. All proceeds from the concert will directly contribute to War Child’s efforts to help those affected heal and rebuild their lives.

Joining Mary In The Junkyard and Blue Bendy are artists Aga Ujma, Skydaddy, and ugly, alongside a DJ set from Black Country, New Road. The concert is being hosted by Bathtime Sounds, the artistic alias of Rachid Fakhre.

“Two years on, as the conflict widens and we are already seeing the widespread effects of trauma in both Gaza and Sudan, I feel War Child are making great efforts to help not just children but whole families who are suffering from trauma,” Fakhre explained, highlighting the urgency and importance of the cause. He also noted that a representative from War Child will address the audience during the event to detail their ongoing work in the affected regions.

This concert is part of a growing trend of artists leveraging their platforms for humanitarian aid.Fakhre has been involved in similar charity events over the past two years, including performances at The Alternative Escape, EartH, and the George Tavern featuring artists like Black Country, New Road, The New Eves, Tapir!, Heartworms, and Cameron Picton.

The ‘EartH to Earth’ fundraiser follows closely on the heels of other notable benefit concerts. Just weeks prior, Sudanese-Canadian artist Mustafa raised an extraordinary $5.5 million for the Palestine Children’s Relief Fund and Sudanese American Physicians association with an ‘artists For Aid’ concert in Los Angeles on January 10. That event, hosted by Bella Hadid and Pedro Pascal, featured performances by Clairo, Shawn Mendes, geese, and a surprise collaboration between Chappell Roan and Lucy Dacus covering The Magnetic Fields‘ “The Book Of Love.”

The outpouring of support extends back further, with a massive ‘Together For Palestine’ show organized by Brian Eno last September at the OVO Arena Wembley. This event united over 150 artists and cultural figures, including Damon Albarn,Paul Weller,Cat Burns,Yasiin Bey,and Bastille’s Dan Smith, alongside prominent presenters like Eric Cantona,PinkPantheress,Richard Gere,Benedict Cumberbatch,Florence Pugh, and Nicola Coughlan. paul Weller subsequently curated a ‘Gig For Gaza’ at troxy the following month, featuring performances from Kneecap, inhaler, Primal Scream, and Maverick Sabre, among others.

These events demonstrate a powerful commitment within the artistic community to address the humanitarian crises unfolding in Gaza and Sudan, offering a beacon of hope and support for those most in need.
