Mashrafe played for Legends of Rupganj on Thursday (March 21) against Gazi Group Cricketers. After losing the toss, Gazi went down to bat before Mashrafe’s 150. Mashrafe took 5 wickets with only 19 runs in 8 overs.
Mashrafe opened the wicket account by returning Pritam Kumar for 14 runs. Pritam took the catch himself. Then Sabbir Hossain Shikder, Faisal Ahmed Raihan, Moin Khan and Mahfuzur Rahman Rabbi were returned one by one.
This is Mashrafe’s eighth fifer in List ‘A’ cricket. He took maximum 6 wickets with 26 runs. Abdul Halim took maximum 2 wickets for the team except Mashrafe.
Gazi was bowled out for just 136 runs by Mashrafe. Anisul Islam scored maximum 41 runs. Apart from this, Mehdi Maruf scored 18 runs, Al Amin Junior scored 17 runs and Pritam scored 14 runs. At the end, Masum Khan Tutul was unbeaten on 11 runs. No one else has seen the face of a double digit house.
