  • The Pixel 10 series may feature eSIM-only functionality in the US.
  • The Pixel 10 Pro Fold might see an October release, later than the other devices.

Get ready, because August 20 is fast approaching, and Google is set to officially unveil its much-anticipated Pixel 10 series. Alongside these new smartphones, we’re also expecting the debut of the Pixel Watch 4 and the Pixel Buds 2a. But it seems the tech giant might not have many surprises left in store. A recent leak has spilled what appears to be all the juicy details about these upcoming gadgets.

Esteemed tipster Evan Blass is back at it, dropping another significant leak concerning Pixel hardware. Following his insights into the Pixel Watch 4, Blass has now shared renders and comprehensive spec sheets for the new phones, the smartwatch, and the earbuds.

The initial set of images showcases the upper portions of the Pixel 10 and Pixel 10 Pro in various color options. Accompanying these visuals is a spec sheet that directly compares the two new models with the Pixel 9a. According to the leaked data, the base Pixel 10 model is expected to feature a 6.3-inch Actua display, boasting over 24 hours of battery life (rumored at 4,970mAh). It’s slated to come with 12GB of RAM, the new Tensor G5 chip, a 48MP primary camera, a 13MP ultrawide camera, a 10.8MP telephoto camera, and a 10.5MP front camera. The device also appears to support 4K video recording, 20x zoom, and Qi2-certified Pixelsnap wireless charging.

As anticipated, the Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro XL are expected to boast slightly enhanced specifications. These models appear to feature 6.3-inch and 6.8-inch Super Actua displays, respectively. Battery life is also projected to exceed 24 hours, with estimates of 4,870mAh for the Pro and 5,200mAh for the Pro XL. Both will likely pack 16GB of RAM and the Tensor G5 chip. Camera upgrades include a 50MP main camera, a 48MP ultrawide, a 48MP telephoto, and a 42MP front camera. The Pro models are also rumored to support 8K resolution video with Night Sight Video, an impressive 100x zoom, and Pixelsnap wireless charging.

In a separate social media post, Blass also indicated a significant change for the Pixel 10 series in the United States: the potential removal of physical SIM cards. Instead, these phones might adopt dual active eSIM slots. However, the Pixel 10 Pro Fold could be an exception, possibly retaining its physical SIM tray.

The subsequent images focus on the Pixel 10 Pro Fold, offering a glimpse of the device in Google’s new Moonstone color. While a complete spec sheet for the Fold wasn’t provided, one image does reveal key details. It suggests an 8-inch and a 6.4-inch Super Actua Flex display, over 24 hours of battery life (rumored at 5,015mAh), and 16GB of RAM. Camera specifics are absent, but the leak does mention an expected 20x zoom. A prior leak indicated that the Pixel 10 Pro Fold, Pixel Watch 4, and Pixel Buds 2a might not be available until October.

The final set of images covers the Pixel Watch 4, Pixel Buds 2a, and Pixel Buds Pro 2. Mirroring last year’s strategy, the next Pixel Watch is expected to come in 45mm and 41mm models. The smartwatch is set to feature a 3,000-nit Actua 360 display, with battery life projected at 30 and 40 hours respectively. It’s also rumored to include 25% faster charging, dual-frequency GPS, and Gemini integration.

Regarding the earbuds, not much is new for the Pixel Buds Pro 2, aside from the addition of the Moonstone color option. However, Google appears to be equipping the Pixel Buds 2a with Active Noise Cancelation (ANC), a feature absent in the original Pixel Buds A-series. Additionally, battery life is reportedly boosted from five hours to seven hours, and spatial audio support has been added.

With all these leaks, it makes you wonder if Google has anything left to surprise us with. We’ll have to wait for the official launch event to see if the company still has a few tricks up its sleeve.
